How to Withdraw R350 Grant At Pick n Pay

The South African Social Security Agency has been providing R350 for as long as six months to people who are unemployed and do not have money dating back to May 2020.

The R350 was mostly paid through the South African Post Office (SAPO), but currently, SAPO has stated that all individuals who used to collect their grant at the post office now have to take their grant from Pick n Pay, Boxer and other selected stores across the country due to some challenges they are facing with the country’s post office pay points.

Before this, individuals who received the old age grant, disability grants and child support grants could still go to the post office for their monies.

Can I Withdraw Grant At Pick n Pay?

Yes, you can. SAPO has said that the South African Social Security Agency’s SRD R350 grant can now be collected at Pick n Pay across the county. If you have been to the post office for your grant and you were told you have no money there, you don’t have to worry. These steps will teach you how to get your money from any Pick n Pay store.

Where Can You Collect Your R350 Grant?

There are various ways in which a beneficiary can access their grant, but now that SASSA does not pay R350 through the post office anymore, they have made it possible for you to collect your grant from Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, checkers or Usave using your ID number and mobile number after you have received an sms from SASSA. You can receive your grant through your personal bank account, which SASSA itself finds easy to credit only to you. You can also access it anywhere in the world. You can also use your SASSA card to shop at the stores listed above or withdraw your money from an ATM.

Even though you can collect your grant from Pick n Pay, not all the stores were given the go-ahead to do that. The list of stores are; BP Pick n Pay Express, Pick n Pay Clothing and Pick n Pay Liquor stores.
