How do you qualify for ECP at UniSA?

Although the ECP is a great initiative, it is not open to all students across UNISA. One must meet certain criteria in order to qualify for the ECP.

The ECP looks at students who are lagging behind and almost close to completing their qualification.

To qualify for ECP, you must have at least five or fewer course modules to complete your entire qualification.

What is an ECP student?

An early completion program student is someone who possesses exceptional academic abilities and shows a remarkable aptitude for learning at a quicker rate compared to their classmates. These students usually take part in specialized educational programs that are specifically designed to help them advance their academic progress at a faster pace. Some individuals have the option to skip grades or enrol in advanced courses, allowing them to complete their high school or college education ahead of the usual schedule. The purpose of early completion programs is to provide a stimulating environment for these students, allowing them to develop and explore their talents fully. These programs are designed to help them reach their maximum potential and enable them to pursue higher education or careers in their chosen fields at a younger age. Students of this nature often need personalized assistance and additional opportunities to stay interested and motivated as they navigate the specific difficulties that come with accelerated learning.

Can you do 6 modules at Unisa?

The UNISA modules are not really restricted to the semester. However, the school looks at the maximum capacity of the brilliant student to handle all the necessary modules.

UNISA has opened its doors to embrace students who wish to do 6 or more modules within a semester.
If you are preparing to be at UNISA or you may have entered already, just know that you can do 6 modules. Unless your entire academic year consists of 6 modules, then there will be queries surrounding that.

However, students who have the capacity to do 6 modules in a semester can feel free to do so.

Also, UNISA has programs that can accommodate 6 modules for the whole academic year, and with this, the qualification is considered.
