How to upload documents for Unisa application
All applicants, especially those applying for the first time, must upload all of the necessary supporting documents when they apply. This includes applicants for undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate degrees, master’s and doctoral degrees, and short learning programs.
Pay close attention to the directions when filling out the online application. You should only upload the needed documents as separate files, not all as one. Please make sure the images and documents you share are clear.
Each file can’t be more than 2MB (2048KB).
Documents can only be sent in black and white.
Only these types of files can be uploaded: PDF (Adobe Acrobat Portable text Format file), DOC (Word text file) or TIF (image file.
Follow this simple process on how to upload documents to UNISA application.
- Click this link to open the UNISA platform: https://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/myunisa/default/
- Use your student number and password to sign in to your myUnisa account.
- At the top of the page, click on the “myAdmin” tab.
- Click on the “Application” link under the “myAdmin” tab.
- Choose the qualification for which you want to upload files.
- Click on the application’s “Upload Documents” link.
- Click the “Browse” button and choose the file you want to share.
- Click the “Upload” button once you’ve chosen the documents
- Continue this process until all documents have been selected and uploaded
- Once you’ve uploaded all of the documents you need to, click the “Submit” button to finish the process.
- Once your files have been uploaded properly, you will get a message telling you so.
Can I apply at Unisa and upload documents later?
The deadline for submitting the necessary documents is none other than the final day for accepting applications. Make sure to have every piece of documentation in order and uploaded before the closing date
How do I upload proof of application fee to Unisa?
The submission of an application fee, either by uploading it to the UNISA portal or submitting it directly to UNISA, serves the purpose of finalizing the application procedure for a certain academic qualification. The application fee covers the administrative costs associated with completing the application. These costs include validating academic qualifications and processing the relevant documents. After the applicant has submitted their application and paid the application fee, their application will be processed, and they will be considered for admission to the program for which they have applied.

- Sign in to the UNISA student site with your student number and password.
- Click the “My Application” link in the “My Studies” area.
- Find the “Upload Proof of Application Fee” choice and click it.
- Choose how you paid, such as by bank money, credit card, etc.
- You should upload a clear scan or picture of the proof of payment.
- After you send the document, you’ll get a message that the payment proof has been received.
Do I need to upload certified documents at Unisa?
Applicants and current students at UNISA (University of South Africa) are expected to provide certified documents. An applicant’s identification, academic credentials, and other information required for enrollment or registration can only be verified with the submission of accurate and valid documentation. The application process could be delayed or even denied if the certified documents are not submitted.
