How much is Unisa CTA application fee?

Students or applicants who are interested in pursuing a certificate in Theory of Accounting are required to pay an application fee of R125. This is the amount stated by UNISA regarding the application fee for CTA. Paying this R125 will alert UNISA to confirm your course application. 

How do you qualify for CTA?

 If you aspire to pursue CTA at UNISA, the first step is to know if you qualify or not. The qualification stage allows you to assess yourself before putting in your application. 

To qualify for CTA at UNISA, there are a few things you need to note down.

  1. You must have passed all five subjects within your 3 year period at UNISA during your undergraduate program.
  2. Must complete the CTA level 2 within the period given.

How long does it take to complete CTA?

The CTA as a program is meant for individuals who may have completed their undergraduate and looking to get a higher level in their accounting background.

This program is intended to enhance their knowledge and skills within the accounting field. 

Although there is an intended amount of time for this CTA course, there are systems that provide flexibility for students.

If you wish to know how long it takes to complete the CTA, then have it in mind this course takes one year. The one-year period at UNISA consists of two semesters which is normally considered an academic year. 

What is the difference between CTA Level 1 and Level 2?

Understanding the difference between CTA Level 1 and Level 2 can help you prepare ahead. These classifications have their purposes and stages. The crucial aspect is not missing any step that may be needed within the next stage. 

Within the Certificate in Theory Of Accounting, there are two levels of qualification: Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 is more like the introductory level, while Level 2 is the next level of qualification.

Once you have completed the CTA level 1, you will be ready to take on the level of CTA. this course will give you an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and proceed to utilize these principles within advanced theories and applications. 

Also, CTA level 1 is intended to help students understand the fundamentals, concepts, and principles of accounting. While moving forward, the CTA level 2 covers more of auditing, taxation, financial reporting, financial controls, and management accounting.

In a nutshell, CTA level 1 and CTA level 2 have a great connection. CTA level 2 is more like an upgraded version of CTA level 1. The foundation of CTA level 2 lies within CTA level 1.
