Online courses are certified programs by an institution which is solely done through an electronic medium. Technological advancement in our modern world has made it easier for people to have access to education without being in the physical classroom. The online courses are designed to make the session feel realistic and interesting, with many discussion platforms and video tutorials.

Most of these online courses are done at the tertiary level, being a degree, diploma, or doctorate. Many institutions have evolved by creating these platforms to accommodate individuals to have online courses. And as we know the purpose of NSFAS, they have come to terms with many institutions in terms of innovations and evolving.

The national students funding aid scheme acknowledges online courses; however, the support for students having online courses in the public institution is very limited. Many students who seek to pursue online courses may want to know if NSFAS will fund them through the study period.
