TVET

• Housing in a city costs R24,000 per year.

• Housing in a peri-urban area costs R18,900 per year.

• Housing in a country area costs R15,750 per year.

• Up to 40 kilometres from the school: R7,350 per year

• R7000 per year for transport

• Incidental/personal care payment of R2900 per annum

What are the disadvantages of NSFAS?

Students from low-income families in South Africa can apply for grants and loans through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). Although NSFAS has greatly supported many students, it does come with a few setbacks.
