- Go to NSFAS’s official website here.
- Click on the myNSFAS tab, and then register.

- Provide your full name, present email address, and mobile number/telephone number.
- Confirm your email ID. Create the password, and then confirm it.
- Upload the ID Copy, and then click on the register option. You will get an OTP after clicking.
- Type the OTP and submit it, and this will complete your registration process.

The NSFAS status check is important after successfully depositing your online application on the NSFAS platform. It will help you seek your students’ funding status from the South African government’s National Student Financial Aid Scheme.
You can simultaneously check the status of your student funding by clicking on the myNSFAS tab. The myNSFAS account will show you the current status of your funding approval or initiation process. The same email and password you created while applying for the NSFAS 2026 must be inserted.
