It is important to know where you fall in order to be able to get the PAYE calculation right before deducting from Salary.
Using this preamble you should be able to calculate your PAYE and deduct it from your monthly salary.

The annual salary is equal to the monthly salary multiplied by 12.

To calculate your annual salary, you simply need to multiply your monthly salary by 12.

At a monthly rate of R10,000:

The annual salary is calculated by multiplying the monthly salary of R10,000 by 12, resulting in a total of R120,000.

To calculate the annual salary, you multiply the monthly salary of R10,000 by 12, which equals R120,000.

To calculate the tax for the first R87,300 at a rate of 18%, you can multiply R87,300 by 0.18.

For the amount of R47,850, which is equivalent to 26%,

To calculate the tax, you need to subtract the amount of  87,300 from  120,000 and then multiply the result by 0.26.

To calculate the tax, you need to subtract R87,300 from R120,000 and then

To calculate the total PAYE, combine the results obtained from steps 1 and 2.  The above calculation has been simplified and did not consider tax rebates or additional deductions.
